Aaron founded Smart Ride to aid his own commuting around San Francisco. He wanted an app that would give him more control over his schedule in real time. He's an open-source software expert who specializes in large-scale internet applications with a focus on performance, scalability and reliability. Prior to founding Smart Ride he was president of Codemass, a consulting firm that specialized in solving internet performance and scaling problems. Aaron has worked on a variety of critical projects for AEG, Live Nation, SonicSwap, and Technorati. Aaron is also a contributor to the Apache HTTP Server Project.

Rob McLay has over fifteen years of experience in digital design. He began his career as Senior Designer for Publicis, one of the largest advertising agencies in the world. Building on his agency experience he has spent the last decade working with the largest tech companies in the valley including Intuit, HP, Yahoo, Apple, Microsoft, Oracle, Intel, and NVIDIA. When he's not pushing pixels Rob enjoys running, biking, pro hoops - and Fender Stratocasters.

Michael has 15 years of experience in providing real-time public transportation information having been the Director of Engineering, CTO, and General Manager of NextBus. He is currently the principal of Transitime.org, an open-source and open-data platform for creating real-time transit information, in particular for complicated situations such as found in developing countries.

Dick is a veteran entrepreneur, investor and board member with a deep background in open web and open source technologies, and a keen eye for prospective technology businesses. Prior to his current work at Bubbler, Dick founded Sxipper, Inc., served as Board Member of the OpenID Foundation, was a Partner Architect at Microsoft, and founded and served as CEO of ActiveState.
